CNC Milling (5-Axis) Machinist

Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operation Milling Machines; maintaining ISO 9001:2015 quality and safety standards, record keeping and maintaining equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Plans machining by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, machining parameters and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain specification by monitoring, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, replacing worn tools and adhering to quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Maintain safe operation by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Complete documentation per requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish Organization goals by accepting ownership for exploring opportunities to add value to company goals and personal accomplishments.
Education and Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Two-year Machine Technology Degree or at least 4 years of CNC Milling Machinist experience.
- Minimum of three years working in a CNC Milling Machinist Position.
- Minimum of one year working in a CNC 5-Axis Milling Machinist Position.
- Computer Skills, knowledge of Solid Works, Mastercam and PartMaker programs, a Plus.
- Conceptual skills, process improvement, verbal and written communication, functional and technical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Tooling knowledge.

CNC Swiss Machinist

Quality Control Inspector

- This Position is responsible for the inspection of precision machining parts by using Mitutoyo SJ-410 Surface AnalyzerBrown & Sharp Optical Comparator w/ Qudra-Chek 2000, OGP Smartscope Flash 200 Vision System w/ TTL Laser and Renishaw Touch Probe, Mitutoyo PH-3500 Optical Comparator w/ Heidenhain Quadra-Chek ND1202, Prolink QC-Calc SPC and Real-Time Data Collection SoftwareKotem® SmartProfile GD&T Evaluation Software.
Essential Functions:
- Inspection of precision machined parts including reading blueprints, material specifications, machining parameters and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- First Article Inspections and ISO documentation
- Final Inspections and related ISO documentation
- Create Balloon Drawings using Solid Works Inspection software.
- Maintain safe operation by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Complete documentation per requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish Organization goals by accepting ownership for exploring opportunities to add value to company goals and personal accomplishments.
- In-house verification of inspection equipment.
- Laser Marking of manufactured precision parts.
Education and Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Inspector required.
- Computer skills, Solid Works, Microsoft Office, and ISO 9001:2015 required.
- Conceptual, process improvement, verbal communication and technical skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Tooling knowledge required.
